My god, talk about missing the forest from the trees. You basically summed up the tolerance paradox, while entirely missing the point of the tolerance paradox. Unmitigated free speech is all well and good in theory, but when you give everyone a megaphone and no consequences, eventually the bad actors drown everyone else out. If you start “curating” things, then you’re right back to having not unmitigated free speech, and the bad actors go back to whining about how you’re oppressing them.
