3×64: Cassandra Go Home

Jono Bacon, Jeremy Garcia, and Stuart Langridge present Bad Voltage, in which in traditional Christmas style we look back on our predictions for 2024 and Jono whines about half points. More successfully than usual this year, admittedly.

Does seem weird that Jono got 4 bonus predictions whereas Stuart got 2?

First off loved the prediction revisit show as always look forward to the bickering over tenths of a point every year.

I’m a bit of an AI sceptic to be fair but I think even an objective person would say that they were a little harsh on Jeremy’s AI slowdown prediction. Specifically in the discussion about the Gemini video there was a lot more faked than just the timing and the voice. Some of the prompts that were required to get the responses shown in the video were much more tailored than the demo led people to believe. Making Gemini look not much more advanced than ChatGPT 4.
