Aq, are you trying to do a Vulcan Death Grip? If so, you’re doing it wrong. It needs to be much further along the shoulder blade at the juncture of neck and shoulder, viz:

You also require pointy ears and to be a Vulcan.

Next time, try hitting Jono over the head with a blunt object. If you intend a temporary concussion, I’d recommend a frying pan. If a kill is required, Robert De Niro adequately demonstrates how a Baseball Bat can be employed in the film “The Untouchables”.
