Microsoft seems to have got quite a lot of inspiration from KDE http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/microsoft-windows-10-new-design-lose-classic-features-minimise-borders-image-look-a7572996.html

Maybe, although KDE is keeping titlebars etc I think.
I ran KDE NEON in a VM a few weeks ago, I like the artwork and GUI design.
Are they shipping this new UI in a point release for WIndows 10?
Seems…risky, particularly given recent events.
Would appear so from the article. I have a small HDD running W10 so I can play Fallout 4 and BF1; it’s a huge pain in the arse because it’s constantly updating in the background so slows everything down. It then reboots and everything’s changed, including game settings etc.
